Luwalhati F. Pablo, RSW - Member

Ms. Pablo has been the Undersecretary of the Philippine Government's Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) since 1997, thus serving three different administrations. She was for several years a Training Consultant on Juvenile Justice for the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam through the auspices of Radda Barnen (Swedish Save the Children). Ms. Pablo served as Programme Director at CFSI from 1983 through 1997. At one point in time, her work at CFSI also included coordinating training efforts in the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. Prior to joining CFSI, Ms. Pablo served in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court of the Philippines. She also taught at the Philippine Women's University. Ms. Pablo studied social work at the University of the Philippines and the Philippine Women's University. She obtained a Diploma in Social Development at St. Francis Xavier University in Canada. Ms. Pablo is a citizen of the Philippines.
